Motion Design

LinkedIn is an employment-focused social media platform with a mission to build a community of work. I joined as a contractor on the LinkedIn Media Productions team, LinkedIn's in-house media production department. We focused on producing both internal and external media ranging from company-wide shows and information segments, graphic packages for live shows, and promotional content for new LinkedIn products and inititiatives.

During my time here, I worked on several engagements in tandem with both LinkedIn Media Productions, LinkedIn's internal design team, and collaborations with outside partners.

LinkedIn is an employment-focused social media platform with a mission to build a community of work. I joined as a contractor on the LinkedIn Media Productions team, LinkedIn's in-house media production department. We focused on producing both internal and external media ranging from company-wide shows and information segments, graphic packages for live shows, and promotional content for new LinkedIn products and initiatives.

During my time here, I worked on several engagements in tandem with both LinkedIn Media Productions, LinkedIn's internal design team, and collaborations with outside partners.
LinkedIn provided me with many opportunities to collaborate with the Brand and Design team. I would often work off of stills provided by the design team, and then be tasked with bringing them to life. The Creator video resulted in a dynamic and entertaining animation, propelled by its fast cuts and casual candor set to its energetic music.
LinkedIn hosts a conference designed around the future of work, talent, and company culture. I was tasked with creating an anthem video that would include brief examples of trends in a post-pandemic workforce. Compared to my other work for LinkedIn, the tone of this project was geared toward inspiring hope during a period of uncertainty in the job market.
Character Illustration Animation:
I had many opportunities to do character animation with LinkedIn's brand illustration style. The following two adverts were public-facing animations advertising LinkedIn's stories and Giving Tuesday, respectively.
Here are some behind the scenes on how I animate these characters. Using DUIK, I essentially separate and rig together all the moveable pieces of the character, essentially creating something akin to a paper puppet.
Show Graphics:
LinkedIn produced a variety of internal content and shows, which required us to build graphics packages for titles, wipes, lower thirds, and more. Here are a few examples for a series I had worked on called Live With.
